“Great place to work”
Dr Catherine Stephan is back working with our clients at WoW to address primary health care needs.
In October Dr Catherine took up a role as a WoW general practitioner and has returned because the Hub lives up to its title as Place of Peace and it is a great place to work.
“The staff and clients are a collective community and they make you feel welcome,” she said.
Working at the Hub is one way Dr Catherine is giving back to the community because she believes WoW’s outreach primary health care services and follow-up care at the Hub is vital to people who are vulnerable, at-risk and homeless.
“It is important to me working with disadvantaged clients in the Hub centre,” she said.
“No one should live on the streets but there is a high level of homelessness.
“WoW is a great organisation who provide an invaluable service to our community.”
There are currently job vacancies for permanent part-time doctors at Wheels of Wellness.
