About Us:

primary healthcare to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the Cairns community. WoW’s
highly motivated and committed team of health professionals and volunteers deliver free, person centered
medical, allied healthcare and social and emotional support.

The WoW service model combines both a mobile outreach and fixed premises approach to the delivery of
primary healthcare by GP’s, Indigenous health workers, registered nurses and a mental health social
worker. The aim is to provide a safe service, free from judgment where clients feel welcome and heard
because we want them to remain engaged in their healthcare journey.

About the Role:

Indigenous Australians and people with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental illness, poverty, domestic and
family violence at a time when they need it most, in the place where it is needed.

The role is supported by a passionate and dedicated multidisciplinary team. The service is fully bulk billed,
with appointment times set to meet the complex needs of our clients.

Flexibility in rostered sessions worked, such as early morning, business hours or early evening, working
from either our mobile van or practice.
