Welcome to Wheels of Wellness. Below is important information about our practice to help you access our services and understand how we operate. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask any member of our team.
Booking Appointments
If you are experiencing homelessness, you can make appointments by:
- Calling our practice at (07) 4019 7870
- Dropping in to schedule an appointment in person
We recommend booking in advance. If you do not have a booking we can only assist you if there is a cancellation. You are welcome to wait and see if a cancellation occurs however, there is no guarantee of an appointment.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of medical and clinical services, including but not limited to:
- General consultations and health check-ups
- Preventive care and immunisations
- Chronic disease management
- Mental Health
- Telehealth services
Please contact our practice for a complete list of services available.
We are pleased to offer bulk billing, which means that we will bill Medicare directly for your consultations, and you will not need to pay out of pocket.
Communication Policy
Telephone Calls: We aim to answer all telephone calls promptly. If you are unable to reach us immediately, we will return your call as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
Electronic Communication: You can also contact us via email at reception@wow.org.au. We strive to respond to emails within 48 hours. For urgent matters, please call our office directly.
Patient Health Information Management
We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal health information. You have the right to request a copy of your health information from our practice. Please contact our front desk or ask a staff member for assistance.
Our full privacy policy is available in the waiting area, and can be obtained by visiting www.wow.org.au or by requesting a copy from any of our staff members.
Test Results Follow-Up Process
We ensure that all test results are carefully reviewed by one of our practitioners. We encourage most patients to book an appt for results 1- 2 weeks post testing.
If follow up is required from these results- we will endeavour to contact you to follow this up- please ensure you keep your contact details up to date with us so we can do this.

After Hours Emergency Contact
For after-hours medical emergencies, please call 000 (Triple Zero) immediately. If you require medical assistance after hours that is not an emergency, please contact our practice the following business day to arrange an appointment.
Accreditation Status
We are proudly working towards RACGP accreditation. For further information on our accreditation, please ask at reception.
